Privacy

Circamode is local-first. It keeps its settings on your Mac.

The app itself sends only update checks. An update check asks whether a newer version is published. It does not send your city, ZIP, display list, warmth settings, or the apps you exempt to this website.

The pages you are reading are a sales site. Buying Circamode opens Stripe Checkout. Stripe processes the payment. We do not receive or store your card number.

When Stripe tells us a payment has succeeded, we store the checkout session id, the email address on that payment, when the download link expires, and how many times the link has been used. We use those records to email the download link, to limit how often that link works, and to avoid emailing you twice if Stripe notifies us again.

The download link includes a signed token. Anyone with the link can use it until it expires or it reaches its download limit, so treat the email as private.

We do not sell this information.

This website does not use advertising cookies. Payment happens on Stripe's website, which has its own privacy policy.

Privacy questions go to support@circamode.com. The site is operated by the Circamode team.
