Screen light

Less blue after sunset.

Circamode warms the screen to cut the blue in its light after sunset. Dimming lowers brightness below the normal minimum to soften harsh glare in a dark room.

Daylight

Cooler screen light, with more blue.

After sunset

Warmer screen light, with less blue.

What it does

Warmth, on a schedule you can still steer.

Circamode changes screen color on the displays you have connected. After sunset that warmth cuts the blue in the screen light. Quit the app and the colors are restored.

How it works

Set a place. Leave it in the menu bar.

  1. 01

    Tell it where you are

First-launch setup asks for a city or ZIP. That place is how Circamode times sunrise and sunset.

  2. 02

    It follows the sun

Through the day, Circamode warms every display on that sunrise and sunset schedule.

  3. 03

    Adjust it when you want

Move the Warmth slider from Daylight to Candle, dim below the normal minimum, pause, or leave a front app alone.

  4. 04

    Quit when you are done

    Quitting Circamode restores display color.
